Homecoming 2011: A Night to Remember
On September 16, senior Kenzie Hood was named the 2011 Homecoming Queen. As a long-standing tradition, the homecoming queen is chosen by the varsity football players. When Kenzie was asked what her reaction was when she found out that she had been chosen as homecoming queen, she replied that she could not believe it; she was very surprised. On the night of homecoming, Kenzie was escorted by Austin McCord and Holden Sudduth, both senior football players. The homecoming court consisted of Olivia Woods, Morgan Ray, Kayla Parris and Kayla Robinson. Kenzie stated that this would remain one of the most memorable nights of her senior year, and she was thankful to everyone who made it possible.
