Accepted the retirement of Jewell Hill as Special Education Aide at Double Springs Elementary effective June 1, 2005 and approved the transfer of Jamie Lawler from shared teacher at Winston County Technical Center and Lynn High School to shared teacher at Winston County Technical Center and Winston County Alternative School.

The Board would like to commend the following students for achievements:

• James Gillentine, placed 3rd in Torch Automotive Technology Competition
• Brandon Garrison and James Gillentine, made finals in State Skills USA Automotive Competition and State Ford AAA Automotive Technology Competition.
