     1.  Accept payrolls and expenditures for November 2004 as follows:

               General Fund...................................$1,779,878.56

                     Accounts Payable Clearing –$428,062.62

                     Payroll Clearing - $1,351,815.94

            Superintendent’s Expense...................... 311.10

2.          Approve releasing December Payroll Checks on December 17, 2004 according to Board Policy.

3.          Accept November Financial Statements.

      Motion carried.

4.          Approve Samuel Tucker as a volunteer basketball coach for Addison School.

Motion carried.

5.          Accept retirement of the following personnel effective January 1, 2005:

·        Ruth Nelson, Cosmetology Teacher, Winston County Technical Center

·        Debbie Cook, Aide, Meek School

·        Debra Grubbs, Teacher/Coach, Lynn Schools

Motion carried.

6.          Approve employment or transfer of the following personnel for the 2^nd semester of the 2004-2005 school year:

§         Sonya Smith, transfer from regular elementary teacher to librarian at Lynn Elementary  (for remainder of 2004-2005 school year to fill leave of Leigh-Ann May).

§         Jennifer Baker, Elementary Teacher, Lynn Elementary

§         Kim Cutcher, transfer from Special Education Bus Driver to Vocational Bus Driver, Meek

7.          Approve the following textbook committee members:  Bonnie Sachs, Addison Elementary; Sandy Thompson, Double Springs Elementary;  Sandy Gaddy, Double Springs Middle School;  Joan Elliott, Lynn Elementary;  Cynthia Youngblood, Meek Elementary.

8.          Commend Addison and Winston County High School Football Teams for participating in the State Play-off Games.

      Motion carried.

9.          Commend Greg Batchelor for completing Level 4 of AASB School Board Member Academy Achievements.

      Motion carried.

10.      Set the next board meeting for January 24, 2005 @ 4:00 p.m.
