an appointment. I'll also be glad to meet with parents before or after school.
What does a counselor do?
- help students cope with emotional crisis
- help to facilitate better peer relationships
- encourage students to recognize and make the best use of their abilities
- to help students overcome learning difficulty
- to assist parents & teachers in helping students to prevent major problems before they occur
- promote positive attitudes and choices
- coordinate referrals to outside agencies
- assists with meetings with parents concerning special education testing
