Double Springs Elementary has a "CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT PLAN" for our school. This plan was developed by teachers, staff, and parents. The plan is stored in the principal office and the library. The counselor has the "working copy" that may also be viewed by parents and interested community members. Mrs. McCullar took a pie in the face to help promote our Bean Supper Fund Raiser.
Two names were drawn from the class that sold the most tickets.
Makenzie B. and Justin D. were the lucky winners from Mrs. Carroll's fourth grade class who got to pie their principal.
 

IMMUNIZATION REQUIREMENT: Beginning August 2010, all students 11 years of age and older, entering 6th grade, will be required to present a Certificate of Immunization (Blue Card) verifying that their child has been immunized, after the 10th birthday, with TDaP (tetanus-diphtheria-acelluar pertussis) vaccine. Please schedule an appointment with your family physician or county health dept prior to August 9, 2010. A copy of the blue card should be returned to your child's school by August 9, 2010.
