Congratulation to 8th grader Kayla Pruitt! Kayla won a state championship in track Saturday, May 5th in Selma. She won 1st place in discus, 2nd place in javelin, 3rd place in shot put, & 3rd place in the high jump. She won a medal in every event she entered.

Congratulations to Halla Jacobs and Hannah Jacobs for being selected to the Alabama All-State honors.
Halla placed 2nd in our district and 14th in the state on trumpet. She played in the Alabama All-State Middle School Band. Her sister, Hannah placed first in our district and 10th in the state on the flute in RED BAND. Way to go!!!!
Mr. Spencer Johnson is our Band Director at Double Springs Middle School and Winston County High School. -
