2007-2008 Teacher of the Year
Each year our teachers vote on one person whom they think is deserving of the
honor of DSMS TEACHER OF THE YEAR. We are proud to announce that this year's
recipient is Mr. Heath Hood. Heath has been an English teacher
at DSMS since 2004 and has done an excellent job in that capacity.
Heath's hobbies include: hiking Mt. LeConte multiple times a year and listening
to the Rush Limbaugh Radio show. Mr. Hood also enjoys playing in a Christian
band but his favorite hobby is diagramming sentences. We feel very fortunate at
DSMS to have Mr. Hood as a colleague.
Heath is married to the former Mallory Long from Addison. Mrs. Hood is employed
as a reading teacher at DSMS.
Teaching is the profession that teaches all the other professions.
