Sept 16 - LES and LHS celebrated the US Constitution on Friday, September 16. An assembly was held in the high school gym and the student body recited the Pledge of Allegiance and stood for the singing of the National Anthem. The US Constitution presentation was organized and presented by members of the student body. Passages were read detailing the history of the Pledge of Allegiance and the history of the US Constitution. We were reminded of the important documents that detail our rights and freedoms as Americans.
