Lynn Elementary Teacher Retires at Christmas

   Mrs. Gwen Nelson celebrated her retirement from Lynn Elementary School with 25 years of service. She was teaching Kindergarten at the time of her retirement. The faculty and staff of Lynn Schools surprised Mrs. Nelson with a party along with a new rocking chair and plenty of springtime gardening supplies to send her into a blissful retirement. Mrs. Nelson taught many students over the years, and her impact was always loving and memorable. Mrs. Nelson is married to Dan, and they have two children, Matt and Mindy.
