last ballgame of the
season in the Area Tournament at Speake High School.

Terri Finley was named Educator of the
Year for students with Disabilities on Wednesday, October 3,
2007. Terri is the Special Education Teacher for Lynn High
School. Terri is a blessing to Lynn School as she touches
her students lives with determination and guidance,
structurally and spiritually. Terri conducts her students by
being a positive example. Terri is involved in Lynn High
School in the classroom and on the court. She also supports
her students every Wednesday morning in Fellowship of
Christian Students. Terri's husband is Mark Finley, named
Teacher of the Year in 2006-07, who also teaches at Lynn
High School. Molly Finley, Terri's oldest daughter is a 2007
Lynn Graduate attending Northwest Shoal Community College
and Maggie Finley is a Junior at Lynn High School presently.
Thank you Terri Finley for the guidance you give our
children and by making a positive impact on those with
disabilities.

Congratulations
to Maggie Finley, Laura Nelson, and Holly Tidwell on their 1st place win over Addison,
WCHS, and Haleyville on September 15th at the Winston County FFA Land Judging Contest.
Holly Tidwell also had the highest individual score in the contest.
These young ladies will be going to District competition on October 31,
to represent Lynn and the Winston County school system.
Lynn High Schools Mark Finley was announced 2006
Winston County Teacher of the Year. Coach Finley has been a Lynn Bear since 1986, since then he has been a leader in the
classroom, on the field, and in his home. Coach Finley, his wife Terri Finley
(Special Education Teacher), and daughters, Sr. Molly Finley and
Soph. Maggie Finley
are all active in the Lynn Bear family. Coach Finley has been an inspiration to the
students and to his co-workers. Thank you Mark Finley for being such a wonderful
person, teacher, co-worker and friend. We all LOVE you at Lynn High School.


Lynn High School's Mark Finley was nominated into the 2006 Winston County Sports
Hall of Fame. Coach Finley has coached and led the Lynn Bears since 1986. He has
been an inspiration to his players on the football field, on the basketball court
and in the classroom. Coach Finley coached bear football until 2004 and boys
basketball until 2002, now his dedication is to the girls basketball team where he
leads a group of girls, two of which are his daughters.
