Monday, February 12

Interactive Notebooks:

  1. Parts of an Expressions: students will identify parts of expressions  and label the parts with the appropriate vocabulary; #43
  2. Equivalent Expressions: students will explain how using equivalent expressions can be helpful when they have to solve problems; they will also give examples to support their explanations; #47
  3. Evaluating Expressions: Students will solve expressions using three difference sets of values for the variables and explain the expression yields a different result when different values are used for the variables; #49
  4. Students will think of a situation in which they would use an addition or subtraction equation to solve a problem and show how they would solve the equation; #51
