Welcome to the Counselor's Office
As the Winston County Technical Center Counselor, I help students from Addison, Lynn, Meek, and Winston County High Schools. I work with students in grades eight through twelve with a variety of career development activities, as well as academic, post-secondary and personal/social counseling.

I can assist students with the following:

  • To help students gain a greater sense of self-awareness by assessing personal characteristics, interests, values, aptitudes, and skills.

  • To provide students with the opportunity to explore post-secondary education and occupational choices.

  • To assist students in development of career goals and devising a career/ educational plan.

  • Assist students in acquiring job skills such as: how to complete a job application, how to develop a cover letter and resume, and how to have a successful job interview.

  • Provide individual and small group counseling.

  • Provide resource materials related to careers.

  • Organize students tours to the Technical Center.
