Wal-Mart Helps DECA!

The local DECA Chapter of the Winston County Technical Center would like to thank Mr. Ken Farr and the Wal-Mart foundation for their financial support of the recent trip to DECA nationals in Orlando, Florida. These funds assisted 14 students who attended the conference! Shown in the picture are DECA Advisor Bart Shannon and Haleyville Wal-Mart manager Mr. Ken Farr.

DECA goes to Orlando!
Recently, 14 members of the Winston County Technical Center’s DECA Chapter attended the 2007 DECA National Conference in Orlando, Florida. These students competed in a variety of events such as role-play situations and business research presentations. We would like to thank Representative Mike Millican, Haleyville Wal-Mart, and several community members for their support of this trip.
