FALL BOOK FAIR

NOVEMBER 18--22

FAMILY EVENTS

  1.  TUESDAY NIGHT, NOV. 19TH

   2.  THANKSGIVING LUNCH, FRIDAY, NOV. 22

On Tuesday night & Friday parents/grandparents/family members are invited to attend the Scholastic Book Fair with their student.  We will give away $50 in merchandise (five  $10 drawings) at EACH event.  So come out Tuesday night to see our Reading Program & visit the Book Fair.  Then, come back Friday to have Thanksgiving Lunch with your student & shop at the Book Fair.

ABOUT THE MEDIA SPECIALIST

Hello everyone.  I have been the librarian at Addison Elementary 

School since 2001.  I am a proud graduate of Addison High

School and love this school and community.  I am married

with 3 children.  My favorite hobby is reading!!

Associates Degree--Wallace State Community College

BS Ed. Math--Athens State College

MA Ed. Math--University of Alabama Birmingham

MA Ed. Library Media--Jacksonville State University

 

BOOK CHECK-OUT POLICY

First grade is allowed to check out 1 book at a time.

All 2nd through 6th graders are allowed to check out 2 books.

Students may keep books for 2 weeks, but are encouraged to return a book as soon as possible so they can find another book to read.

There is a $0.05 charge for each day a book is overdue.

DAMAGED & LOST BOOK POLICY

Accidents happen!   If a book is damaged the student should report the damage so that the librarian may, if possible, repair the book.  If a book is lost or damaged beyond use, the student must pay for the total cost of the book.
